My Tacoma (2018 Limited) feels like it’s hesitating and stuttering. I have had the MCB Auto Elite tune and the truck was running great! However, now it feels like it’s back to its old self stuttering, hesitating to let me accelerate on to the interstate, and when it does the RPMs fling up to 3500 RPMs. I’ve had the transmission fluid replaced in it as well. I’m trying to rule out any possibility of it being a torque converter or transmission issue. However, when I hooked my OBD2 scanner up to it today, it’s showing my engine was nearly 77%. That was while was slowly accelerating up to 60 mph and I wasn’t mashing down on the pedal. My MAF sensor is showing only around 6-7 lb/min on the scanner too. I geared down to 3rd just to see if it would go up into the 20 lbs/min and it didn’t. That was around 4k rpm. Any thoughts on what could be going on? I replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridium in hopes that it was old spark plugs since it has 95k miles on it. Also, whenever I do an ECU reset by disconnecting the battery, the truck will run perfectly for a few weeks and then it’s back to its old self again. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. This one really has me stumped. (Yes, I’ve cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor recently).

Engine load depends on the throttle plate opening. Some tunes can push 110%.
Talk to the master. Took him 5 tries to fix stupid downshift

That’s good to know! My downshift is driving me crazy too. It downshifts out of nowhere going downhill (even slightly).
