yup ive seen people damage a frame section from hitting one of those good ole midwest potholes!
no prob man! if you ever need to again shove the front tire in the side corner of your bed and have the bike at the angle you do now and strap er down! or get a bike carrier or trailer haha.

now you have to get out there and take some new pics!

That's the plan if I ever have to transport it again. No matter what the 700lb whale of a Burgman will have to be trailered.

Yup. I own a trailer so that I never have to try and put a bike in the bed. I'm short and that's just too sketchy for me.

Dude, with as much as you like dirt and pavement, the T7 really does make sense. Especially since your girl rides, so two up isn't as big a priority. The T7 would suck for that.

Fair enough. Don't get FOMO. There's a lot of T7s out there. There will be more when you have the funds available.

Wife had plans Saturday with a friend so I rode north for the first time. Headed up to Issaquah to I90 motorsports for something to do. Always cool seeing the folks paragliding at Poopoo point. Made the traffic a bit more bearable.

This tracer was much more comfy than the used one I sat on the other day. Was definitely an older model. I could see this being a nice bike.

I of course liked the transalp even though i hate it on paper. It just feels like a barely larger version of my bike. I just wish it had cruise control and some of those tech features of the NT and AT.

    PXL_20250809_194735238.jpg

And as someone mentioned before... Not many bikes out, surprisingly. I usually see far more. Only saw like 3 in the 2 hours or so I was riding around. Not counting those coming and going at the bike shop.

I should clarify this. It's not meant as a dig. It's just interesting to see the regional differences in slang. You'd think the internet would eliminate a lot of the regional barriers for it, but apparently not. Kind of surprising.

IDK where he's at, so I wasn't assigning a region to it. I just know he's further east than I am.

I've got a younger friend (in his early 30s) that introduced me to (fire emoji) in regards to something cool/awesome/etc. I can't bring myself to use that... I remember having to ask what he meant, and feeling old... My wife was like, "you don't know what that means?!~?~?! how old are you?!?!"
