It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Still lighter than the stockers

Technically no. I think i had to cut open the top then reweld mine in.

At one point I think Eric at relentless made a whole need bracket for Jerry when he ripped his off out if 3/16 steel and got rid of the studio all together. Maybe he'll make you one if you want to go that far.

Im guessing soon and you try and straighten the stud it's going to rip the head off of the weld. So it'll just flop around. That said with an impact might be able to just zip it together again.

Bummer was hoping to remove it and just put new one in praying the nut wasn’t tweaked

was hoping to keep dabbing out of it as she is in my garage without a way to steer and my garage has no fab skills.

Well like I said. Even if the weld breaks it's just a bolt welded in. So you can just try zipping it on with the good Ole impact.

What will be the straw that break the camels back is if the nut on the lower bolt is tweaked upwards too far so that the lower bolt can go in straight. So then it either needs fixed or it'll strip out.

lower threads in and out fine, hopefully just top. It’s being suggested that I heat it up red hot at nut and bend it back straight with a pipe… thoughts

that could work, but imo it's just a matter of time before it happens again and fully breaks off so I would be more inclined to beef it up

too be fair this was a pretty bad hit hopefully I don’t ever repeat again! Hauling ass down whoop line came to a rise which sent us up in air and as we clear rise we came down on passenger side into a 3’ vertical wall while driver side was rounded whoop. Did a sky wheelie from hell and almosted rolled it. Blew tire off bead and kicked rack a few teeth off as ateering wheel was off center about 6” or so. The stock bracket just bent with stud. New billet bracket won’t bend so if I can straighten it out the 1/2” or so and torque down new bracket it should be good… hopefully I didn’t ever repeat that one!

Today I replaced the driver's seatbelt assembly, and installed in-channel, window vent deflectors over all four windows.

Yesterday, I attempted to replace the fuel filter. I hit the connectors with Free All and let it soak for 30 minutes or so. Using a new "Craftsman" 14mm flare fitting wrench, the out end fuel line broke free. The in end did not. I'm blaming the sloppy tolerance in the new wrench. I've ordered a Snap-on and I'll try it again after a longer Free All soak. I'm not keen to heat it up. I saw a vide where the fuel line was cut and a new tubing section with a connector was added using a compression fitting. I may need to go that route.
I also straightened a bracket on the OEM running boards. It looks like at some point, someone backed into it. It's straight again. I'm considering just removing them. They seem more decorative than functional.

The more I think about it the more it just needs to be fixed correctly, cut out, plate and strength a bit…

Rear ended someone today I just redid the whole front end about 3500 miles ago. I have no clue what is broken and what isn't, I can see that my alignment cam jumped out a bit. The car I hit is probably totaled so my trail gear bumper did great I guess.

I can confirm, it’s removable. On mine the nut is locktighted on the stud and past oil leaks have made the stud basically a bolt for me lol
