ASSHOLE PARKING

Only a blind person wouldn't have seen that blue square with yellow paint! The light and angle of the picture is kind of oblique, but I can still see it.

 

Ya fair. Like I said wasn’t really doubting it.

My suspicion is this person DGAF and figured they would “only be a minute.”

 

If I'm not mistaken, the EV Guys get mad at the ICE Guys for parking in EV only spots. What if it were the other way around?

It happens all the time at my local shell. It’s even worse because they park in the only diesel spot… makes me when i have to wait

 

Not this time. The station was empty and I didn't want to be that Karen to yell at him, just to yell at him. If the station happened to be full, then I would have honked at him until he left. I wouldn't waste my time getting out of the car for someone like that.

 

He probably has a gas powered Genset in the trunk so he doesn't get stranded...

I was certainly tempted to say something. I was initially thinking of asking him if he knew he didn't have to put gas in it.

 

They didn't want to park in a space and face a potential door ding, so parked at the pump.

Parking lot is so empty they could have parked over there in BFE. This is a bad one. Maximum fine for asshole parking.

 

Some gas stations have signage stating not to park at the pumps unless you're pumping gas.....but enforcing that....meh.

I do enjoy someone pointing out the hypocrisy of them blocking a ICE owner from pumping gas when they whine about their chargers being blocked.

 

It takes a special kinda of stupid asshole to park an EV next to a gas pump and block others from using it while you go in and buy whatever...

 

You will get no disagreement from me bro. Personally, I love these Tesla owners who drive a Tesla and use Twitter but have their anti Elon stickers on their cars.

 

I always try to avoid using the diesel spots because there are only 4 vs 8 gas pumps.

 

I always marvel at the "Walmartians" at Sams Club who pull up to a pump that's on the wrong side of their car and then drag the hose over their trunk/truck bed to get to the filler cap.

I've been to Sams Club in California (Bakersfield) and the line is a million miles long for obvious reasons. I aborted that mission because the time lost outweighs the savings at the pump to some extent.

But here, the lines are never that long, why not just wait a mere 5 minutes and not look like an idiot?

At Sams it's one direction only - at least at every location I've been at.

 

Unfortunately not everyone is soo accommodating. I had to wait behind a car on Saturday while there were gas only pumps available.
