They only code I got was P0303 for a Cylinder 3 misfire. I removed cylinder 3 coil pack and it had oil on it... I then switched coil 3 with 5 to see if I'd get a misfire on 5 now. But the OBD2 scanner I have connected and had no codes, then the check engine light came on again and now it won't connect to my truck, I did I've been trying all day, but it keeps staying no DTC codes available or can't connect. I've tried with the key in on position, and I've tried starting the truck (this is how I had to do it to connect before) but it doesn't work. I tried to take the cylinder 3 spark plug out but it was to tight. And this is what the socket looked like...

I wouldn't be surprised if that oil is prohibiting spark.
Oil doesn't conduct electricity too well.
If it were me, I'd be cleaning the coil(s) and ends of the spark plugs at a minimum.

The real fix is, Valve cover gasket, and new plugs.
    And possibly new coil(s).

You did clean the oil off the coil (inside and out) before moving it to 5?
If not, you risk causing a misfire on 5 and 3.

The cause of the oil is the gasket between the cover and spark plug tube.
It's part of the valve cover gasket. Might as well do both.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Oil on the coil indicates the spark plug tube gasket is dry rotted and letting oil into the coil shorting it out.

Yes, I cleaned the coil before putting it on 5, and I'm going to get a new spark plug and a new coil and the valve cover gasket as soon as possible, I can't afford all new spark plugs and/or coils and also the valve cover gaskets... However, I'm really glade it's the passenger side not the drivers side... I wish there was a temporary sealant or gasket maker I could put on the inside to keep the oil out of the spark plug hole and not have to take off the valve cover, lol... Thank you all for the help!!! I'll get this done as soon as I can, I won't be driving it until it's done...

I know clearing codes won't fix the problem. I meat should I clear the codes before starting it to get the codes again... When I finally got the code reader to hook up the first time it only read the one code po303 or something like that for cylinder 3 misfiring. I can't get the code reader to read my truck anymore it says it's not found. I replaced the valve cover gasket now I'm trying to replace the one cylinder three spark plug I was twerking it to 14 lb but I got scared and felt like it was over tightening so I stopped and took it out and check to the threads for smashed of over tightening. And the new spark plug came out with oil on it, but no smash marks on the thread the little ring that was kind of rounded at the top is now flat so is the other one the old one. But there's still oil in the spark plug hole. And I don't know if that's okay cuz it's just a little bit at the bottom of the threads or if I have to get it out somehow. And I don't know if I 100% need a new coil as well, is it automatically ruined when oil gets in the spark plug hole? I can't get the reader to hook up so when I switch three and five I don't know if that misfired on five instead...

A little bit of oil on the bottom where it screws in, is fine.
What you do not want is, oil on the upper part of the spark plug where the coil snaps onto the plug.
Take a q-tip and clean the inside of the coil where it slides over the plug. Make sure there is no oil on the wire spring inside the coil.

Okay I cleaned the cylinder tube and check the coil pack spring for oil. So I'm going to put it back together now, and then jump my truck because the battery is dead and I will see what happens... Thank you
