I did the WRX’s on saturday. Was pleasantly surprised that it was just as easy as the Taco and 4Runners were. Oil filter was somehow even more accessible.

Big annoying part was the previous owner told me it had a fumoto valve, but the dealership must have taken it off when he traded it in. Went in expecting it to be down there and was very disappointed.

I didn't even know you have a WRX now. That is a bummer!

    What happened to your 4runner?

Not a bummer at all. It was time to move onto something safer, mostly. That and now I have a turbo that makes woosh noises with more power than the 4runner. It was getting old and starting to show it's age. Rolled it over 200K last summer.

Put on a lift kit a few weeks ago. it's amazing working on something thats new and isn't a complete rusty shit bucket, zero bolts were seized or stripped, it was amazing.

I did the diode voltage booster since my alternator struggled with both my AGM starter and AGM Aux batteries.

I got the battery light again and 17v. Pulled over and cleaned terminals and retightened everything, then drove 1.5 hours with no more lights or issues. 13.6-13.9v the whole way.

Hoping it was just a slightly loose terminal.
