Partify

Hey all,

Anyone have any experience with buying Partify body panels, I need to replace my hood on my 2019 and they seem to have reasonable prices and I can get it painted, just wondering how the paint quality and fit are?

 

It looks like they are just reselling Keystone Automotive or CertiFit body panels and putting cheap paint on it and shipping it. Without blending paint on a 7 year old truck, I can promise the paint will not match and shipping that hood will most likely roll a corner or cause damage. I would suggest getting a hood from a salvage yard or buying aftermarket from a local dealer so you can inspect the hood before buying and then take it to a shop to have it properly painted and blended on your truck. I would be willing to bet this route will be cheaper than paying $1000 from that site for a disappointment.

 

Yeah, as soon as I saw the stupid name (Partify), I too guessed it was a reseller. I'm not saying it will be a bad thing, but proceed with proper expectations OP!

Yeah called the dealer yesterday on my way home, honestly the price was better than expected and my body shop guy will give me a reasonable price on painting it while he has it in for the other body work, thank for the replies all !!
