    Nope. Not on the list.

GS1250, Africa Twin Adventure Sports, and a few others in that vein.

    Sweet bike.

I have only owned two Yamahas in my riding career

My second motorcycle a 250DT1 and a stunning Triumph copy Yamaha 650 years later. Both were great bikes

both photos, sister bikes pulled from the web.

That yellow one made me think about an OLD bike my grandfather had at his place. Someone had left it there at his place when I was a toddler, or maybe even before I was born. He got it running when I was prolly 9 or 10. I rode on the back a couple times behind my dad. Yamaha 100 Twin Jet, I believe. Was a 100 2 stroke twin, which I find hilarious these days. This is not the bike, just an example of one. His was very rusty in comparison, lol.

The local Ural dealer will tell you flat out: This is not a bike for the interstates, it's a back roads bike. My buddy has one. It's sweet spot is between 50 and 55 MPH, with occasional bursts to 60.

The Ural is based on the design of a 1939 BMW, so it's not a speed demon. That and engineering has come a long way since that design. If not ridden hard, and maintenance is kept up, they're very reliable.

Took the Harley out for a ride this morning. Was nice to just get out on a comfortable slow relaxing ride. Stopped at the bike shop to look at a 25 xsr900 in black but it either sold or they don’t have it on the floor yet. Didn’t talk to the owner as he was busy so I just bounced. Will check the area to see if there is another one. Just want to get eyes on it to see if it checks that box.

been a minute since I popped in here. Hope you guys had a solid weekend. I did not get to ride as I was visiting my oldest brother up near Sacramento. Did get to do some fun car stuff with him and see a Bugatti and McLaren Senna both currently hacked up for a bunch of custom carbon. Wild to see them chopped up. I'll upload a couple pics a little later.

In moto news...my exhaust debacle has finally been figured out, and it was supposed to be delivered today, however our new USPS driver has this thing he likes to do where he marks packages requiring a signature as "no one home to receive the package" despite my roommate working from home M-F. So I'm hoping I can swing by tonight to pick it up before they close. I'm antsy.

It's annoying but understandable how the Inventory a shop shows online might not really be reality. An NT 1100 popped up the second they were released at the shop I just visited. I called them, and they told me that it was technically in inventory, but still in the crate and already sold. It was more an automated system he said, so nothing they can really do. Like inventory didn't show it til they were allowed to, but as soon as it popped up, they'd need to go in and change it to sold, but they simply hadn't yet. I literally called them hours after it popped up, lol, so I wasn't blaming them.

Some pics from the weekend’s cars and coffee, and the Senna/Bugatti.

Both are getting full carbon paneled interiors. The owner of the Bugatti is also considering hacking up his roof to make it into a targa top style. Will not be cheap by any means lol.

That is hilarious as long as it ain't you! Never owned one but all the reviews and testimonials seem to indicate KTM's are a high risk/high reward proposition and that is NOT something I want to deal with when it comes to motorcycles...
