AWE Exhaust, KARTBOY exhaust hangers, custom 1/0 exhaust grounding, lots of Titanium hardware from my old builds, silly JDM bits from my old Subaru builds, Uniden Bearcat Off Road CB, Firestik 2 w/custom CF mount, custom KARTBOY plate frame with Rigid Industries Spot on ball head mount, Yakima Mega Warrior w/custom CF cross brace. ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. Body Armor Sliders. Icon Stage 4 Lift. Eibach 1" Lift Blocks. Overland Taylor Tune. Rough Country Spare Tire Bed Mount. 67 Designs stuff on the dash. Uniden Radar Detector Hardwired. Spod Lighting Controls. RC Black Series Bumper Lamps RC Black Series Grill Lamp. Body Armor Stealth Front Bumper. Extended Brake Lines. Greddy Shift Knob. More to come of course.
Appreciate the insight. Right on. And that makes perfect sense with the Icon spacer in the kit. I learn more everyday about these trucks. I am currently researching the correct APR extended studs and will probably go open ended lug nuts. That Subaru guy will never go away. haha

Gotta find some madtyte JDM open end lug nuts for sure. Hard to do with that funny taper.

Passed the 30k mark yesterday! Picked up the truck Feb 2024!
    IMG_2759.jpg

Also finally found a wireless CarPlay adapter I like- the small form factor and almost flush-to-the-dash fit makes it almost disappear.

Have only had it a day, but setup was super easy and it seems to auto reconnect every time I enter the truck.
It’s the ‘Spedal CL322 wireless CarPlay adapter’ on Amazon.

Replaced ANOTHER VLED tail light (good thing for the 3 year warranty)

So far, I’ve had 2 red tails go out in similar fashion, less than a year in, and 1 just now. Also one white/amber reverse/blinker switching bulb also went at about the 1 year mark. I’m glad they honor their warranty without hassle, I’ve needed to use it 3 times already. Great customer service. I just hope they’ve improved quality control on the new batches.

hey, how are these holding up? Any issues? I found a set like new on FBMP for $175, front and back. Very tempting.

Not with my Evo's. They fit perfect. But my Gen 2's didn't fit much better than that.

To fix that you'd normally need to pull the bumper again and reseat it. But if stock did that as well then it's something else. It looks like it's just not pushed back enough though. Been in any wrecks?

I just clicked over 15K. Took delivery 5 years ago this month. I want to swap out my DuraTracs to Cooper Road + Trail but can’t justify it with such low miles.

If you are feeling generous ... I could use RCI sliders. :D

On a serious note ... years ago I asked Discount Tire to check the spare in my Corolla (yes, a few years ago) and I was informed that at 10 years old they would not mount that doughnut spare. At some point rubber does go bad especially exposed to sun.

I got the dr car now ones off Amazon. Can’t say enough good things. I put them on the minute I picked the truck up and my wife commented she didn’t realize my truck had leather seats, lol.

Live where you have to drive. My brother lives in a city that is smaller but where a major US university exists. He walks to his job (about 2 miles one way) because he can and he enjoys it. Others he knows live in suburbs 20 miles out and he would never move that far away from the city.

Used it to haul more small trees, branches, brush .. it's that time of year again for tree trimming.. I have about 20 or so medium trees left to cut down and a bunch of branches to trim back still ...

I really should just get a small utility trailer. Glad I have a long bed.

Between work, ice hockey, and BMX skateparks/trails riding I drive about 80-120 miles a day... Not ideal.. not cheap.. I live in the sticks.... I have to drive to get anywhere

Quite well actually. The little extra padding does make the seat a bit more comfortable which I find the 3rd Gen seats lack.

Good morning all, so I'll be ordering Baja Designs fog lights, I have a '23 pro with the rigid fogs, how easy is it to remove the fog light bezel surround? And is better to replace the fog light bezel with oem, or buy aftermarket ? Does anyone know the oem part number???
Or just order a set off Amazon?
