I use a natural wild grape vine and the deer love those too !

Got these next to the horizontal rub thingy I made last year.
I have a lot of grape on this property and I think I'll try using a bundle of them in the horizontal rub this year.

They didn't even bother with fresh cut white pine last year.

Took the camera out back with me this morning.


Last year when I got this place, I made openings in the old stone walls.
The watershed public land I hunted was loaded with stone walls. Even though deer can easily jump them, their travel routs are thru old barways and other openings.
The openings I made are now corridors. Everything goes through, and often.

This ladder is only 20-30 yds from the openings, food plot, and rubs.
Got a lot going on in this corner.

Amazing how they use the cut trails more than not.
Got some good shooting lanes.
