    Fella at work years ago told me he shot a doe and out stepped two fawns bleating. I said I bet he felt bad about shooting the mamma doe. He said “heck no, I had both them lying kicking with two more shots!”

    3/4” is a pretty good soaking for August but there are a lot of BIG punky snags in high places. The sun comes back Tuesday and could stay ‘til November! I’ve written high buck off there….for now!

    Deer are at the cutting edge there. Lyme disease name sake comes to mind. What the heck?!
    I was just looking at a thread about wrist watches in TW and remembered that I hadn’t worn one since getting deer ticks under there while doing research near New Bedford Mass.
