FINALLY got my CR sliders in and installed. Drivers side was much easier to install than passenger side. Just a bit worried about the drivers side touching the pinch weld.

Youre right, I was going off of memory of a Westcott video I saw....

    Heres a question though...
I just looked at my frame...
On the flat bracket that mounts on the bottom of the frame...
Does RCI actually provide some sort of insert that goes into the pre-existing holes?
Theres zero access so has to be some sort of insert if theyre truly provide hardware to side mount & bottom mount with bolts.
My guess is only way to do it is with some sort of insert, the existing holes are very big...

Looks like they are, theres installation instructions on their site...
    "instruction tab"
Looks like theres some threaded brackets with handles "nut stick" that you fish into a hole in top side of the frame & start the bottom bolts into them...

Ide be barking at them to make it right, $1.5k wasnt cheap...
    Thats un-acceptable in my book...
Looks like its touching & will just eventually chip the paint....

I don't usually like the look of an Off Road( black wheel flares) Long Bed, but your Bronze Oxide with black wheels is making me take a second look.

    @dansflhti Thanks for the compliment.
@slater Thanks for that other Pic. I agree for the price I payed, it should have turned out better. I'm going to loosen all the bolts tomorrow and see if I can adjust for a better fitment.

yeah, there may be movement or not....

Nope, straight up bolt on factory unmodified frame. Came with No brackets nothing, just sliders and bolts.

Just looked at their instructions, you’re right. And the photos confirm it.

Got the SS5 Crosslink light bar on the Sherpa roof rack. Loving the results.

    I know all that....
Were talking about the bolt holes on the bottom, bolts going up into the frame.......
Theyre just holes & not threaded....
Thats where the L bracket comes into play which is what we were discussing.
Bolts go in sideways & bottom / up....

So theres a backing plate that gets fished in there & you attempt to line the bolts up with the plate & thread the bolts...

    Look at C4's installation instructions....
Looks like theres some threaded brackets with handles "nut stick" that you fish into a hole in top side of the frame & start the bottom bolts into them...

This is interesting. When searching this part number and checking fitment for my SR5 4x4, the Toyota search page came up with this (see pic below)..."May not fit your selected vehicle"...Really?

Nice price though. My Bonobos were $200

Yeahh I thought the stock Bilsteins on my offroad were too harsh for on-road daily driving.
I love the fact that the Fox QS3 TRD Pro suspension has adjustability. There are three different settings (1,2,3) 1 is very soft, 2 is medium, and 3 is stiff for aggressive driving. I have been happy with the number 2 setting, it feels very plush yet planted in corners. I also wanted to be able to clear 35" tires eventually.
