Ive been lurking around here since January when I ordered my truck and I finally got to pick it up Friday! Black DC TRD-OR manual

I was trying to disable the seatbelt chime because I live in the country and never wear it on the farm. I followed the instructions that I found from searching on here (on, off, on, hold button down, etc) but they either dont work on my truck or I did something wrong..... I tried looking in the manual, but all I could find was it saying that the dealer could turn it off...

Is it the same steps to do this on an '11 as it is on older models? I think the steps i followed said it was on an '08
Also, when it says to push the trip until it reads ODO, that just means the regular odometer reading (ODO xxxmiles) right? as opposed to ONLY reading ODO?

    Thanks in advance!

I always wear mine when Im on the road (I have first hand experience knowing they save lives in bad wrecks, esp. in a Toyota), I only dont wear it when I drive on the farm.

I guess Im doing something wrong, haha just have to keep doing it til it works i guess

If you really wanted to disable it I think theres a weight sensor inside the seat that triggers the chime, mabey take that sensor out, or a fuse? Just a guess
