True. Pastor McLane Stone in our recent observance of a rowdy 96 YO lady (who plays harmonica on her birthdays) and a centurion (101 YO) lady, "Nobody here ever looks older than 65!"
"Hangin' on, enjoying the ride!" - Charlie (not Nipp, at First Presbyterian downtown).

Not really in one camp. I have plenty on DeWalt and Makita and others, but the small 12V Milwaukees and my home made 5 mm hex driver bit made an ADHD nightmare a pretty quick process

Wow! My sister looked for a translator to convert my namesake great grandfather's poetry that he wrote about experiences as a railroad conductor out of Mauchunk, Pennsylvania in the 1800s. He enjoyed reading his poetry to visitors at their home in Prentice, Wisconsin. The closest she found, said he wasn't sure he would be close to Pennsylvania Dutch, but his work helped us to understand the entertainment.

Nice, I have a friend whose a Ryobi guy, I tried their drills at a shop space I was renting, I was pretty impressed with how smooth the power delivery was on those.

But yeah, no brand probably does everything great.

My battery powered vac is a RIGID, and I bought it b/c it had the highest rated suction - from the reviews I watched on Project Farm. Would def recommend it.

I got sick of plugging gas station vacuums to do my Tacoma interior.

The last two Ryobi tools I've bought lasted less than 15 minutes... and locked up. I will never buy anything Ryobi. And I'm not rough on tools. I have Black and Decker tools that are thirty years old. My Milwaukee set is about sixteen years old and I've used it more than most non-professional builders... and all tools, batteries, and charger are still working. Ryobi has been the only tools I've ever used that have given up the ghost immediately.

Mauch Chunk is just NW of me, now known as Jim Thorpe Pa, I would say that some of my relation crossed paths with your great grandfather in the 1800's at the train station, which is still there but occupied by various businesses.

Never had or tried any Ryobi cordless tools. The only Ryobi tool I own is a corded reciprocal saw that I bought around 1985. Still kicking! Admittedly I don’t use it as much anymore but I used to beat on it

My wallet is draining just browsing VRBO vacation rentals in Maine. Like - run down shacks are $250 a night.

Welp, now it's down to the outer banks here in NC or heading out to Portland to see my buddy Scotty for a week.

I think loading up the Tacoma with beef for the grill, beer, and some books to read on the outer banks sounds like a better idea.

I need 5 states to knock off all 50. - ND, AK, HI, ME, and RI. Ugh.

And then you have to factor in, the tool companies, many are owned by one big conglomerate, and many are made in the same factories overseas.

It's like car batteries - when I worked for Johnson Controls back in 2012 doing a Windows 7 migration, we traveled to their battery facilities and you'd literally see Walmart batteries and big name brands going down the same line, just stickered differently.

And if the train went North to Scranton this is some of what he would have seen, the path you see on the left of the river is the old RR bed, and the seam that you see just off the river to the right is another RR bed that crosses a trestle and goes through a tunnel and is still in use.
I fish the river, and often thought about what it must be like to be the engineer. or part of the crew that gets to ride the rails through this beautiful area, I think I would have loved to have that job!
