No because the tank is light when empty. If I mounted a toolbox it would just be one of the carry around ones with a flip top lid and lift-out tray covering the bottom compartment.

Concerns of modifying the ROPS and compromising it are valid. If I do this I will make flat plates to bolt to the bottom mounts under the ROPS. The ROPS will sit on top of the hitch so no structural integrity will be compromised.

Tractor is my Yanmar Sc2400 SCUT.

In my opinion, I have no issue welding or drilling holes in the ROPs.

How many times in a consumer environment have you seen a person use the seat belt while in a piece of equipment that has a ROP system? All equipment with ROPs has a seat belt.

    I've never seen it.

Yea I drilled holes in my rops to mount my hill billy canopy
Two 5/16” holes aren’t going to taco my rops. I even had it at the dealer for warranty work and they didn’t say a peep

They have some neat stuff but I fab all that stuff at a fraction of the price. I have a 20ft stick of 2" square tubing as well as a 20ft stick of 1.5". If I mount either of those sized hitches on the ROPS I can fab any type of easily removed/switched assessories.

After my 3rd cut today since replacing the Fuel Shutoff Solenoid I am ready to pronounce the dieseling problem "cured"... (knocks on wood.)
The 20hp Kohler engine on this mower would occasionally diesel since it was new (3 years ago). But the problem got increasingly worse, especially over this summer. I began to get worried that pistons or pushrods were going to come flying out when I would shut it off. The full-throttle shutoffs I had read about seemed to help a bit, but only sometimes. After three cuts and getting the engine plenty hot each time, it has shut off perfectly at the lowest throttle position. I think it's fixed.. and I'm happy..

Welding shouldn't compromise the ROPs, might actually make it a bit stronger with another point of bracing.

I can say I've only used the seat belt on mine a couple times in all the years I've had it.

Only on uneven terrain, which I have plenty of. But let's remember I do have a B7100 which isn't very big and heavy. Got my ROPS from @Lt. Dangle super dude.
