Changed my cheap Amazon brake booster yesterday with a used oem one. Brakes like a dream now. I was basically standing on the brakes to come to a stop before. Now I just use my foot to lock up the wheels.

    Yes, manual everything...even mirrors...
Modified my camping “bed deck” system I made - on the road a lot this summer for work in the Bay Area and hotels are outrageously overpriced.

REI came through with a plush memory foam camping pad that is super comfy so I can pocket all of my per diem!

Note: while I know plenty about electricity, I’m kind of sucky with anything with wood - So if I can build this, anybody can. A couple beers or so is helpful as well Pre-project…. ;)

I put new power window motor/regulator assemblies in the passenger and driver side doors. They were both starting to flake out not rolling up every once in a while.

Dorman part# 741-800 (rh) front door passenger and Dorman part# 741-799 (lh) front door driver, solid replacement part.

Sprayed window tracks with pbblaster silicone version. All good no more window shenanigans. $150 total parts, I purchased parts on ebay but rockauto is a little cheaper not much with shipping. Had ebay gift card, ha ha. PEACE

I loaded it up completely with 4 people and all the stuff a college freshman needs, and drove from South Indy to West Lafayette. No, it was not the most comfortable (duh) but as always, it got the job done. Fortunately I'm the biggest one in the family at 160#. Wife and daughter had to sit in back for the ride down there; just wife on the ride back. At <110#, she didn't really mind.

    Mine looked kinda like that.

I cut it out and welded on some 1/4" plate with two captured nuts.

Transfer case front output seal and companion Falange seal (worst part was unstaking the nut)
    Filled with royal purple 75w-90

door handle (“upgraded” to one of the metal ones) looks good so far

also when I was in there the window had Ben a little wonky since I bought it and come to find out the front mounting bolt for the glass had shaken out and fell in the door. Now it works like new

of course an oil change to top it all off
