Rage 2" Hypodermics. Blood trails could be a little better.

Any elk hunters in here or is everyone chasing whitetails?

Season is 3 weeks out here in Idaho.

Would love to, if I lived out west.

I do enter the yearly drawing for a tag here in Michigan, but every year I get the same response .. "maybe next time". Of course, the problem with a weighted drawing is it gets near impossible to get a tag.

It sure is. I almost regret shooting them when it comes time to pack out. A little suffering is good for the soul though.

Yes, yes you do. Nothing compares to having one coming in all fired up looking for fight, pissing on himself, slobber dripping off his snout and bulldozing over trees!

Oh I know! Been close several times and failed to get a shot. Really exciting and very disappointing!!

I got winded by a nearby cow and she spooked the bull. Had a herd run off and take the bull with them when a truck came through. The best one was when I called one in from a mountain top lake. He ran right at me and I think it winded me and took off as fast as it came in….

They do pretty good as long as the coons leave them alone. These blinds only cost $119 but I usually get them on sale for $89 so if I can get 2-3 years out of them, I’m happy.

My wife and I was walking in our woods looking for mushrooms and she found my bolt from last season.
I spent hours looking for the damn thing including bringing the leaf blower . No luck.
It was laying on top of the ground about 10 feet from where I stopped looking.

I lost a Realtree AP boonie hat (my favorite camo hat at the time) after running up to a fall turkey kill years ago. Spent a good 15-20 minutes looking for it between the dead bird and my tree I was sitting at. NO luck at all. The next spring I go to the spot with a buddy and show him my tree, where the turkey died and....THERE'S MY HAT!!!! No idea how I could have missed it.
