    Trees that are not yet bonsai, either large enough or styled into bonsai are "pre bonsai" - you grow the tree before you can style the tree - it's in development. When it reaches its time, you then style it into its finalized form. It will take years to get there.

    Interesting! We have the Congaree National Forest here in SC. Didn't realised that rosewoods were in the cypress family. I've enjoyed reading Archangel Ancient Tree Archive newsletter over the years.

    For sure. I generally photograph only the good or tasteful stuff. I also catalog murals in different cities I've visited. Miami, Tampa, Sarasota, Charleston SC, RVA, St. Pete, Florida's mural game is pretty unmatched.
