    I shit you not, getting gas one day and dude pulls in driver side to pump, gets out and looks at car, yep the gas hole is on passenger side. Gets back in pulls ahead and turns around and pulls up to the next set of pumps driver side to pumps, gets out and looks at the back of his car. The look on his face was something I'll never be able to explain.
    I didn't stay any longer, I was laughing so hard, I had to leave and the guy behind me was probably wondering what the hell was wrong with me.

    So we know the main motivation for Asshole Parking is door dings and other damage.

    I can’t be the only one who consciously holds the edge of my door when exiting my vehicle in tight parking to prevent damaging others cars?

    You're not the only one (I do this too), but we are definitely in the minority. And the majority of this thread is clueless, idiotic parking. Most don't even know how to drive, let alone park. But some are true assholes like the lambo parked sideways in a handicaped spot.

    My arm ain't long enough to reach edge of the door when I'm getting out, but I always hold firmly onto the door handle so I control the door opening.

    With all the government regulation, I'm sort of surprised they haven't mandated which side the cap has to be on.

    I prefer the passenger side to be fair. Like all of my euros have been.
