I mount these universal suspension seats on all my tractors and the curved back gives me the lateral stability I need on my hilly, rough property.

I put that same seat (from TSC) on my Ford. When I took the old one off, the seat belt went with it :anonymous:

I do wear the seat belt in the skidsteer, you can't use the foot controls or move the machine without it being connected. I don't connect it behind the seat to set a good example for my son :D

Weedeater started running horrible after bout 30 min would only idle. Started tearing into it.checked sparkplug, Didnt see anything bad, then i remembered something bout exhaust being clogged. Pulled sparkarrestor screen used a torch to clean it. Now i cant get old one back in so I left it out. New one is $12 the cheapest i found:rolleyes::rolleyes: runs better without it

Well i figured it would be easy to put back...but basically the screen expands when you push on it so no way it will go back. Im not paying $12 for a 1/2" x1" piece of metal screen. I use earplugs running weedeater and mower. It is a bit louder now:rofl::rofl::burnrubber::burnrubber:

Opinions please. I've been debating with myself for awhile now and haven't swayed the argument either way. So I'm bring y'all into it. How do y'all keep fuel for your tractors; jerry cans, transfer tank?

Ever since I bought my tractor, I've used 7 - five gallon jerry cans to keep my tractor fueled. I've so far always bought on-road diesel using my Kroger points when available or at Murphy's. A couple weeks ago I drove by the Co-op who happens to sell off-road diesel. The Co-op is a bit out of my way normally, but the price was $.50 less than Kroger. That got me thinking about getting a larger transfer fuel tank to put out by the barn for off-road diesel. There's only two differences between on and off road diesel, the color and taxes. I didn't think much about the tax saving when only buying 35 gallons at a time. But if I could buy 100 or 200 gallons at time the tax savings might be worth the effort. That size of a tank is about as big as I could mange to load and unload on the trailer with the tractor to go get it filled. Something I'd probably only have to do once year with that much fuel. I don't think getting a 300-500 gallon tank and having fuel delivered would be worth the extra fees. Though I've not priced the delivery cost either so I'm just guessing there. :notsure:

The main question here, is it worth getting a tank like one of these? Pros/Cons.:argue:

I have one very similar to the red tank in your link. It's also 250 gallons, but it doesn't have a pump attached to it. I have a 12vdc pump that I use with it. The tank is as an auxiliary tank for my diesel generator that has an internal 100 gallon tank. We had both tanks topped off last year before hurricane season. They took about 180 gallons between the two tanks. I can look up the exact cost if you want it, but it was very reasonable. I seldom use from the big tank for the tractor, but just keep it full for the generator. I think I would go through a couple changes of underwear trying to transport the empty tank somewhere to get it filled, and then transport it back home with 1400 lbs of diesel in it. Plus the tank must weigh a few hundred pounds empty...:eek::anonymous:
