Fog light harness - Aftermarket

Hello friends! I'm installing Fog lights for the first time, ever, and they came with vague instructions. The instruction picture looks nothing like the harnesses.
This harness design is nothing like I've seen in instructional videos. Any help would be appreciated. Pic attached.

Please edit your title - something like "fog light wiring question" would be good.

The word help us reserved for people who are broken down or stuck without a recovery plan. Over they years some of our great members have gone on rescue missions.

Here is a standard relay wiring diagram.

 

The left wire: red wire with fuse goes to battery. Probably the black wire goes to ground. The yellow wire probably is the switch wire. I can’t tell by the picture where the right wire goes. This is purely a guess but the left harness looks like the control side and the right harness looks like the light side.

The top left component looks like a switch and the one next to it with the white plug is the relay.

The red wire from the switch would be connected to either switched or constant power, and the yellow wire would be connected to a stand alone higher amp 12v source.

The red wire from the relay goes to the red wire on the light harness, and the two black wires go to ground.

Have no idea what the green plug might go to. Plus the harness seems short to go all the way to the front of the truck, like it's missing a harness to go between the control and light harness.

But again, this is all just a guess without having all the parts physically in front of me.

Thank you everyone for the insight. The yellow is marked ACC which I believe goes to a switched power fuse with a fuse tap. The Green goes through the firewall and is for the dash switch/button (picture attached).
The real issue is that everything that I've seen on YT videos shows more connections at the inside fuse box, and this design seems to be all in the engine compartment. Thanks again!

 

NOT working! The relay is NOT clicking. I'm not sure what's wrong.

- Red from Relay to Fuse to (+) Battery
- Grounds - both Grounds to frame (and meter out 12v with battery (+))
- Red from light harness to the factory end extension, then to 2nd RED off of the Relay
- ACC (*yellow) - added an extension wire on to the accessory (yellow) cable through the firewall and "tapped" into the p/outlet (fuse #3) 15a fuse.

* The vague instructions never mention the yellow wire. And the harnesses look nothing like what's on the shoddy drawing.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

 

Is this a 4 pin relay or 5?

Using the resistance setting on your volt meter you should have a low resistance between the two coil terminals, # 85 & 86 in my earlier post. Note it should be a low resistance but not zero.

Applying 12 volts to these two terminals should make the relay click.

 

And don’t worry if you get constricted.

 

On my 23, there is an ign fuse on the main fuse block to tap without running a wire through the firewall.

 

Guys. Thanks for all of the input. It was in fact a bad relay (out of the box). Snapped a new one it and the lights worked immediately. Thanks again!
