find a 2024 Taco, lower the tailgate - then hop in the bed, unless your over 6'6 or under 40, it is VERY tough. Petty issues aside, this is a reason NOT to buy one!

Name a modern cab on frame truck that you can easily hop into the bed without accessories.

I have heard of bed steps... not sure why you'd think thats ok when most other trucks do NOT require them and Toyota wants a coupla hundred. bucks for $5 worth of steel. will probably need to fab one, but makes me mad every time.

I don’t understand this it’s not a tall rig or deep bed by any means. In all my gens I always just stepped on the tire to get in and out of the bed.

I'm the same age as both of you.
    I'm 5' 8" according to a measuring tape.

But I'm anywhere from 5' 5" to 6' 6" depending on what gas station door I exit.

    Today, I'm a cool 6' 1" :muscleflexing:

Do you carry a purse too?
Put your purse on the front seat, not in the bed of the truck....

Dude, why you pickin' on the Taco for this? All trucks feel that way after you've had 40+ trips around the sun. My 2015 F150 felt the same way.

I'm just going to say it, since no one else will.........

If getting into the bed of the truck is hard, are you sure you need to be in the bed of the truck?
Picking yourself up off the ground, after falling out of the bed, is going to be REALLY hard.

Annnnnddddd..........Now the Mods get enjoy the rest of their night.
