There seems to be a lot of that in this thread. I think some of you should start watching pickleball instead of MX. MX is getting you too excited and worked up.

 

I think they should watch Mud Madness on Discovery if they like drama. Those people be crazy!

 

I watched a couple episodes of that show. That was enough for me.

 

Meh, personally I don't like the "you have an opinion I don't like, so you're no true Scotsman" attitude. I like to have (preferably civil) discussions about opinions. Reed triggers you? Fine, tell me why. You think that move wasn't dirty? Ok, let's debate it. One doesn't have to be deemed worthy by some gatekeeper to enjoy motocross. Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one, and everybody's stinks. Live and let live.

I liked Emig. Mainly bc everyone around me in high school hated him bc they were fair-weather McGrath fans. there's always someone.

 

I am the little dude in lane two with the hole shot. McGrath is the big kid on the outside. Needless to say I am a McGrath fan.

Good to see Davies back. He’s going to have to race himself back into shape.

 

Question for you guys. If someone races 250 SX then 450 MX what class do they race in for the SMX playoffs?

 

I think they have the choice to do either class. I want to say Marchbanks was in a similar situation the first year of playoffs, but don’t quote me.

Edit: I think Hunter was in the same situation the year he won his SX title too.

Does Jo’s sweep today mean Deegs isn’t racing a 450 at Budds Creek now?

 

Yep, Deegan hasn’t clinched the title yet.

 

You guys think Deegan is going to challenge Jett on a 450 still? Can't even take a moto off Shimoda!!

I wonder if something is physically wrong still. Nearly every time he's looked like this in the past he had some injury that was not known or downplayed. last 2 years at this time he was flying, and nobody could come close to matching his speed going into and through SMX. Current form he's not sniffing that SMX title again. Shit might lose the outdoor title

 

He may have just been playing it safe yesterday. He only needs 7 points to win the championship. That’s pretty easy unless his bike blows up each race.

 

Yesterday was Jo’s day for sure, in typical Jo fashion. Dude never shows out until the last few races, and 40 seconds on 2nd place in the first moto was no fluke. Absolutely loved his mech writing WASABI SAN on the pit board

I wonder if Deegs is still banged up from Red Bud. He’s definitely dropped the speed and settled into championship mode after Hymas denied him of a perfect season (bike problems or not), and that crash at RB beat him up pretty good. I think he’ll be just fine on a 450. He’ll have more bike under him and not have to hang it out as much. That said he’s got some serious hurdles to overcome in the likes of Jett and Chase.
