Dex is already starting to shed like crazy, usually doesn’t happen till summer is over. Weird

The beginning is always funny because it happens in patches and he looks like he’s been fighting an electric razor

It has been an exceptionally cool summer here so far so maybe that’s why, barely broken the 90s except for a couple weeks early on. Next week supposed to be hot though. Maybe his fur brain thinks it’s fall or something.

Oh hell, it's been hot as hell here, no rain all summer either. Been worried about starting a grass fire all weekend.

Yeah that was like us last year, no rain for nearly 10 months straight which led to a never ending fire season and those huge fires that destroyed 2 cities.

We rarely get summer rain so that’s normal, but if it doesn’t rain in fall or early winter then we’re in trouble

Interesting he's loosing his summer coat already. If he gets his winter coat early and we get the predicted La Nina this winter the poor guy is going to melt.

It's what I told Stephanie when she asked if we should cut his hair

Me - 'fuck that, he's a rockstar now'

Although with all the reggae I listen to hopefully they don't turn to dreads instead :bananadead:
