Went out for a "ride around and find out" sort of mtb run yesterday on our local trails and found out...whooops. Just call that one "hike with bike" -- lets name my bike so it sounds less lame.

Drove out today with hubs unit to rid together on more greens/blues that are more suitable for this chimken ass monkey. I have gained "fear" -- someone fix my character points plz.

there is now a forever running joke with one of the girls on our hockey team/group/family -- she ate too many oatmeal cream pies, was driving, fart was not fart, shit her pants, went to change at burger king bathroom and her daughter wouldn't bring her the clean underwear from her bag and welp yup...craziest, best, wild story; this lives on forever. She just turned 40 and we bought her oatmeal cream pies, toilet paper, and doggie poop bags... :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

I think you mentioned being near or visiting Prescott in the past? Look at the Whiskey Offroad MTB race. I rode the 25 a few years ago, it was fun. Big long dirt road climb to start with, not everyone's cup of tea but it played well to my abilities and probably will to yours as well. The rest of the race is technical enough to be interesting but not enough to be scary. For me, a race is an effective way to get me to push myself in ways I wouldn't on a normal ride.

I'd definitely stick the 25 mile Whiskey though, the 50 looks too much like a suffer fest.
