So, I’ve got a big project for us if we are all interested in another mod day soon-ish. I also want to clear out my garage and this one thing is in my way…

The jack ain’t nearly big enough to be a problem. The lawn mower would be more in the way.
I mean, that’s exactly it, you guys have done this enough where it’s a science. Me? I’d fuck it up so bad…

John has quite a unique setup which made the lower shock mounts little goofy. Bedcage with 63's SOA.

Gotta say, right out of the box with no adjustments the Locked shocks performed very well.

yeah, had issues last time the bed was off. Getting new hex head bed bolts from belmetric this week.

This by far is one of the most unique and craziest setups I have ever seen. I'm hoping that drive shaft and brake lines also support the flex on this M.F'er. Great job to the both of you

This was as far as I was willing to go in the dark with no help. IMG_4447.jpgI know it can go more, the shackle says so

So here’s my rear situation. Truck is on the lift, full droop. I measured the gap between the shock boot and shock. I can’t pull the boot enough to secure it to the shock body.

I personally don't like boots, I think they hold moisture and dirt and end up causing more problems than they try to protect from

Gonna have to find longer boots. I know I’ve looked in the past and they’re pretty cheap but don’t want added corrosion issues.
    Could try something like thesehttps://www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai...-HP9JaPAxU8g4kEHTezEZcQwg8oAHoFCA0QjgI&adurl=
    Double check the sizes tho

Another vote for bootless, especially with the shockshaft going up I dont see them serving any purpose other than holding dirt and debris right on the sealhead.
