Hey all, I just picked up a 25’ Tundra and am looking to upgrade the tires soon and was hoping for some input from some of the members here who are more knowledgeable than I am. I’m looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT, Toyo AT3’s, or Falken AT4W’s. Which tire would y’all recommend will handle mild off-roading as well as the snowy conditions we get? Also are there any local tire shops that y’all recommend? Thank you in advance for the help!

Love my mickey thomson Baja Bosses (E rated). i had E rated goodyear duratracs before that which were much more noisy, similar performance. next set will be Baja Bosses

I've got Toyo AT3 and they've handled Mammoth winter driving without any issues. At the current rate of wear I'll get at least 50K miles out of them.

I'll be the Anti-Toyo AT3 guy. I've had 2 sets on 2 different rigs and have been disappointed when it comes to the offroad terrain we have, and the wet on-road performance too. I've had far better experiences on Mickey Baja Bosses as well as the old Falken AT3. I'm sure the AT4 is even better than the 3 so those would be a good tire for mild offroading. The Toyos have been far too 'loose' on the NV backroads and skate around a bunch, plus they really chip a lot too- Far more than any other tire i've run in our terrain. YMMV

Falken ftw. And if durability is the worry, that 50 or 55k mile warranty is nice. They just pro rate a refund on them (assuming using a discount tire or similar)

I used that mindset to ignore durability and just stuck to a tire I had before my current set. Driver skill is my trucks limiting factor not tires or setup.
Current set is around 40k and has at least 10k life left on them
