I don’t know why I always swap those two. Sugarloaf is what I meant.

Think wife is good with the lake and Mt. Kineo. And yes, we are people from away.

Big ride today up to the ski area and around the mountain. Always love this view looking east out over New Mexico!

I hear ya, but this thread has morphed into anything that bike people like to talk about. We were just talking fishing, hiking, camping, garages in the last few pages, lol.

I just post here instead of anywhere else because I feel these are my like minded people. Instead of creating a new thread every time I have an idea, opinion, or question and getting responses from people who may be vastly different than my hobbies and me.

We give the answer you want to hear not necessarily the most logical hahaha…although it depends on everyone’s logic

Side note, redid the bed of the truck. My e-bike doesn’t fit in the bed with the wheels off with the drawer I had. I removed the drawer and self tapped one of the pieces of Ltrack to the bed between the bed stiffeners. Into a pieces of steels below the bed so not just the composite bed haha.

gonna order up one of these bad boys unless someone has a better option to easily mount to Ltrack? https://freedomcoast.net/products/micro-adjustable-fork-mount?variant=50706916770008

It's not required in Idaho. However, I got hassled by the cops for having the plates blocked in Georgia and California so I put the plate relocator on all my trucks.

okay - I come back for bike pictures and more advice

first -- sweeeet pics landing here.

second -- Running I wear a hat and it gets soaked and I occasionally deal with some sweat/sunscreen in my eyes. So far with biking, it is a whole new disgusting thing. The front of my helmet, that little pad at the font, fills with sweat and then just over flows pouring out all over; squish it against my forehead and omga it looks like you poured a water bottle on the ground. Once it's full and dripped, it seems to just drip whenever it's full and then you squeeze it out again and hope for the best. It drips on my sunnies, my phone, my pants, my bike, me, all the things. I feel like I'm just gross. :p

I feel like wearing my hat under would be both annoying and hot; same with a bandana and maybe make my helmet not fit so well; plus helmet hair is so shmexy ;)

What do you all do riding in the heat? Am I just broken?

I get on the bike…I start sweating.

So - I wear a Halo sweatband. It works pretty well but if I am climbing for extended periods, I’ll stop and squeeze it out and that gets it back to normal. I use to wear a halo cap, but I like having my hair open under the helmet for cooling purposes. But that could be another option for you.

so this is at least a normal thing then? phew. I'll look at the sweatband idea. For hockey I do have some inserts I can put in my helmet but for the most part the foam in my hockey helmet isn't quite the same -- it's tough but not really absorbent; the sweat just goes everywhere.

I also like the flow through my bike helmet; I have the Smith Engauge mips -- great small fit btw for others looking for small helmets without going to the kids section. It's a 22 model but much better than the 2017 kids giro road helmet I found on my basement shelf...

The fact that it is POURING out the front just kinda makes me cringe; I'll have to make a video for IG for shits and giggles but it is really gross when you think about it. lol.

I don't feel hot or over worked -- just out grinding I guess. Just would like to not drip so much I guess; at least not on my sunnies. :p
