My rear leafs have over 100k on them they're squeaking a little more nowadays. The truck still sits at stock height with no squating and not planning on lifting it in the foreseeable future. Was thinking I should start planning on replacing them. Really leaning on getting OEM springs, but was wondering if I should consider any aftermarket options too.

I did some searching and a lot of what came up was related to giving the truck a lift.

    Thanks

Do you carry anything in the bed other than air?

If not, just jack it up by the bumper and squirt fluid film between the leafs.

Other than some recovery gear, most of the time the bed is empty. I do put camping gear in the bed when we go camping and the usual Home Depot visits from time to time, but that's really it. I'll try the fluid film.. Thanks

If you do replace them look for some cheap OEM take offs on Craigslist or marketplace. Not entirely sure if 3rd Gen springs would work too. Where are you located?

Yeah I put general HDs in the other day on my father in laws DCSB (empty bed) and got right around 1.75-2" of rear lift. Their regular 3 leaf pack is stock height though I believe
