Did my first diy oil change today. of course the dealership over torqued the filter housing. Thankfully I had the motivx filter wrench. I had to use a breaker bar to get it loose. I put it back on with 18 foot pounds.
I also dropped my wrench while I was putting the skid plate back on. It bounced off the ground and hopped into my used oil. Yay. Good thing I had safety glasses on I got splashed in the face :)

It's nothing compared to some of the crazy setups I see out there nowadays. But she'll get there. I'm surprised the guys that have these killer lighting setups don't show em off (output shots) more. Like @K9tacoma with all them big bangers!! And that fancy camera of his. His truck and setup is one of my favorites. Very clean. You should totally start adding some output photos of your new setup mang. I bet they'd be wicked. You take some amazing photos man. I'm jealous. Wished I knew a bit more about photography and editing. Need to get me a decent-ish camera first tho. Lol.
K9's Instagram if you wanna see some amazing tacoma photos.

Trying Meguiars Air Treatment ... again. Still smelled of cigarettes, though the first treatment seems to have helped. Not to invite the "one definition of insanity is ..." but :anonymous: I still left the Rough Country seat covers on because thay are a pain to remove/install. If still not complete work, I will remove the seat covers.

Got bumper wrapped up Friday. Added different ditch lights and moved the big yellow ones to the bumper for now. Still have to wire up the signals and DRL’s. Looking at getting some 7” or 8.5” STEDI lights to replace the ones there now. IMG_7042.jpg

That's just going to temporarily mask it. You need a cheap ozone machine from Amazon. Activated charcoal bags, ozium spray, even a box of baking soda will do more to absorb and remove it.

Well, then ... a couple boxes of baking soda. I do not Crapazon so would need to find another source for "cheap ozone machine". Charcoal bags ... need to find those somewhere.

In the heat it is less noticed than in the cool, but soon it will be cool ... even PHX has a winter.

Looking now. I have a Kobalt "power base" that has a 120V plug in it and takes a 40V Max rechargable battery ... ran a Kobalt electric lawn mower for 30 minutes. I was renting a house and they wanted me to mow the lawn ... so I bought the mower for $200 that included the $150 battery ... the mower is gone but the battery is too damned useful. Part of my camping/remote gear now.

I'd like to start a petition to bring back the jumbo muffins at Costco. The new flavors are no good. I want the originally poppy seed and blueberry. As a matter of fact, I want an equal amount of poppy seeds and an equal amount blueberries in each muffin.

After my son totaled my 02, it sent me in the hunt for another truck. I picked up a new frame but still rusty 03 that was maintained, but the inside smelled like old men at a poker table

I used a charcoal pouch (two of em) hanging from the back headrests for about a year . You have to "recharge" them by letting them sit in the sun (which should be no issue for you). The name of the product/brand escapes me . But they worked.
