Orphan Skipper returned this week and getting bigger.
She was bedded down 100 ft from me when I pulled the card in the lower camera.
Surprised it made it so far with the amount of predators here.
    Right now....

I'd bet it's orphaned. Seen it by itself almost a month ago.
First I though it was the other Skipper, but that one is always with the Doe and is a bit smaller. :notsure:

Did some choot'n this last weekend and broke my new rifle in (Aero Precision .308 AR). I was extremely happy to have it on paper immediately after an 'eyeball down the barrel bore sight.' Scope adjustments were working perfectly, dialed it in about 1/4" low at 25 yds. Was pretty much dead on at 50 yds (which is what I wanted), and then proceeded to shoot 4-5" groups at 100 yds... I'm on the fence whether I want to blame the scope (so I can buy a new one), but I'm thinking it may just be ammo related. I had heard that 1:10 twist barrels/AR platforms typically like 168+ grains better than 150 grain, and I definitely wasn't expecting anything better than 1-1.5 MOA given it was FMJ ammo and an AR platform, but I definitely didn't expect groupings that bad. I'm hopeful I'll have better results with some quality ammo. If not, I guess I'll look into checking torque on the barrel nut, and if nothing there, trying another scope (torques are good on rings/mount). Any other ideas? I'm no perfect shot by any means, but I'm absolutely positive it wasn't user error. I had no issues with other rifles.

Figured out what was wrong with the Chicom cam. Micro SD card went bad.
Lemme know how the time lapse thingy works.

Put up another pop-up today and checked cameras but no good pics. Been getting lots of turkey pics and the food plots are looking pretty good.IMG_6653.jpg IMG_6647.jpg IMG_6646.jpg IMG_6645.jpg IMG_6644.jpg IMG_6654.jpg

May have been mentioned but I’m not going back to look - anyone use range extenders on their Reveal 3.0?

I’ve got 2 out right now - both in spots that had spotty service last year, but I was able to get pics. Put them out early In July and it says I have moderate service but I’m barely getting any pics. I went to scout the spot out again the other day and checked the cams and one had over 200 pics on it but it had probably sent me 20 maybe. I’m sure the canopy cover isn’t helping with signal considering it’s spotty at best in winter with no canopy. Was hoping the range extenders would make a difference

What did you plant this year? We just sprayed a few days ago and are going to disc next week and try clover, oats and winter peas this year. Had oats and brassicas with rape, turnips, kale and radishes last two seasons that did really well but have heard you don’t need to plant more than couple years in a row so trying to get some nitrogen back in soil this year. This is still fairly new to me as we’ve only planted food plots last two seasons. Hoping for the best this year but always have corn as a backup since we can bait in NC. Yours is looking good
