I think it's probly doable. I did mine recently and im only 1.5" higher in front, 2" rear. Might be tight but doable. But I did use a pump for all my fluids too so that made it way easier to just lie down and feed the tube in. Would be a good idea to get a jug and pour all your pouches into one container so you don't have to juggle all them pouches around.

The manual pump from HF works great. Then theres diy pneumatic pumps you can make too. But the manual pump transfers fluid pretty dang quick. And long tubes to feed it where u need it.

Installed midlands gmrs tonight. Half-assedly anyways, bc I wanted to play with it. Mounted it to the rago center console panel with some R4T molle mounts and other goodies from tackform like the magnetic mic holder. Super easy to mount with all that. Just had to drill the bolt hole bigger on the radio bracket. Plugged it in to cig lighter for now but plan to hardwire it. And attached the tiny antenna to the roof to test it, which is now mounted to the console for the time being. Ha.. Still waiting on a bracket to mount the ghost antenna I purchased, to my ditch light bracket then gotta wire that up through the firewall. Will eventually move it to my roof rack when that goes on.

Im wondering now though, if I can use my long cb whip antenna I have on my 1st gen for this radio, and possibly gain even more range? Hmm.

Charcoal will only clean the air, not the source. Baking soda is mostly a marketing scam and doesn't deodorize well. It'll only help with some of the particles released into the air, and not the source. Plus you'll never deliver it to the source.

Ozone can help a lot. It can kill molds really well. It can oxidize stuff like leather.

I would try a good cleaning followed by a strong enzymatic solution of Odormute in the seats and headliner especially. Then ozone it if that isn't complete.

Ive done the front diff, xfer case, and trans fluid 2x without ramps. Different strokes for different folks . My truck is not lifted and I have a small frame ~ 155 lbs and 5'10. And some of the angles were a bit tight.

Got me some LED high beams installed (auxbeam brand). Also ordered some sun visor mirror lights to upgrade to LED. 3 out of 4 work. Gonna have to have a chit chat with their customer service to replace them bad one. Both were ordered off Amazon. I tried the high beams this morning going to work and HOLY SH*T they are bright AF. And thanks to @usmc2msu I finally got around to ordering my bug shield/deflector. Amazon was out. Ordered it off O'Reilly's website. Hopefully, it will be here later this week. Was supposed to be getting my windows tinted early today, but getting called into work got that pushed back later today (if I'm lucky to get out of here on time). If not, it'll be later this week.

Sun visor mirror with the one working LED bulb:

    20250818_162345.jpg

I switched it around just to make sure it wasn't just the connectors, but def a bad bulb. The original ones were working before I changed them.

Build some 3 to 5 inch wood blocks and just put the tires on those. Gives you a little extra room and you can drive right off them

Elliot/I10. I need to drive to Tempe HF anyway and my workday ends at 3. Switch to PM if you want to coordinate. I was going to start with the rear/transfer first since I should be able to reach those and I need to pull my IFS skid.

Jack stands. I rarely use my ramps anymore. I trust jack stands more.

Be careful with ozone generators and the like. They can damage interior plastics with too much exposure.

Good to know ... maybe start with charcoal bags and see it just keeping them in the truck makes it tolerable until the constant exposure works.

There's a thread on the site somewhere, where a member left his ozone generator running for a while without monitoring it and some of his plastics distorted/melted and one piece got brittle. His dash looked pretty fooked.

I once put a roof-top bike rack steel piece in Lime-Away because I wanted to start using and it had rust. Accidentally left it in for a couple of days. The steel part was no longer "complete". :eek:o_O
