Good morning. I have a dental appointment this afternoon, Xrays and cleaning. Might try a pizza on the smoker for dinner tonight. I also have one workbench to clean up. I will be busy.

Got a repair person coming around noon-ish to fix our garage door opener. I used to do this stuff... now, I just don't want to, plus I don't know if I see well enough anymore. I think it's one of the wall mounted controllers. Could be the whole shebang... it's 30+ years old. Hope he/she knows wtf to do. It's always something.
Bought a new mattress for the spare bedroom room downstairs. We will use it for a while after wife's upcoming knee surgery... maybe permanently, if we (she) likes it.

Good Afternoon. Busy day so far. Everything accomplished and even fit in my haircut. Getting ready to do a frozen pizza on the smoker. If I like the way it turns out I might invest in a decent pizza stone and peel. I will also be learning how to make a pizza from scratch.

 

My relatively new Marantz receiver died! Just wanted some tunes.

Marantz had no easy/quick solution, Hard failure.

They are sending a box and shipping label. Very OK with Marantz warranty and customer service, but dang 7 months??

I like dump runs too! It's pretty rare when I don't come home with something. Best score so far was a trailer load (9) of better than average railroad ties.

 

When I was a kid I loved going to the dumps with my dad. I always found and came home with cool stuff. Haven’t found any “cool” stuff at the dumps in 50 years. Must admit my definition of cool stuff has changed somewhat since those early days.

 

Nah just a transfer station in our neat and tidy county.

Man I love the smell of the dump in the morning. Smells like defeet.
