But then I go back to the ease of use of my wife's Shad SH23 hard side cases... so nice to just turn a key and swing them open. Even if they don't look as cool. :annoyed:

Couldn't be easier to work with. We have some canvas reusable grocery bags, and they fit quite well in these. So could easily pack clothes or whatever and just lift out the entire bag.

Once you have it you'll be spoiled. Water tight, secure, so damned convenient.

Too many posts to quote. I also have the Rhinowalk bags, have only fitted them so far, bought them to camp with some time in the future when it's just me and no one is waiting for me at home.
I really like my tiny Tusk bags. Just about perfect for a day trip. I think another liter or two in size would have been a bit better. Although I would just stuff more stuff in them.
I keep a jump starter, hand pump, extra gloves, poncho, a couple bungees, neck gaiter, 32oz water bottle, water filter, small hand towel and a half roll of TP in a ziplock bag. And that's just the main pockets. A few granola bars and some cookies fit well in the smaller side pockets. Nothing bulkier than a wallet though.

    Right on!

According to momma, She is having a blast out there, Then heading over to Drumheller, in the next day or two, to play in the dirt. Both the kid and wifey are up there on vacation. both are on different sides of Canada, too.

Besides the obvious benefits and negatives, it's almost always MUCH easier to remove hard bags when you don't need them than soft bags. No straps, just unlock and pull them off

How do you like my redneck transmission lift. Dropped the subframe on the Mazda today. Got the turbo and exhaust manifold off, can't tell if the head gasket is shot, or if it is the dreaded 2.5T cracked head issue. Either way head needs to come off. Maybe tomorrow

Edit: you can see a Yamaha wheel in the background, so still moto related

I've used the tusk saddle bags on my dirtbike and also on my bolt lol. I plan to buy them for the price and how well they work and hold up.
