Looks like a cage is most of their solutions. Stiffen up the frame so it twists less so the cab doesn't twist with it.

Welp the cab still hits my cases after all that work, so gonna try and DIY a 1/2in body lift in addition to doing the marmount mod on the DS motor mount.
Anyone have any experience with if you have to extend any parts like the steering shaft for body lift that size?

@Squeaky Penguin who makes the kit that you said you have?

Wasn't there someone selling replacement bed crossmembers for repairing cracked or rusted ones?
I found an issue with mine...

Not sure he ever sold it or just made it himself via send cut send but he could def make some money on them.

That looks pretty easy to fix by welding the crack and scab plating over top of it.

Mine were pretty well rotten and completely destroyed so I made my own. They didn't quite tie into the bedside supports without some creative use of angle iron so I did not think about trying to sell them if they weren't going to be a perfect fit.

Was out on a trip, but looks like you guys covered it.

@Phessor I doubt you'll get away with just welding those cracks, especially with the weight you're carrying.

My fix has been working great, although I didn't test it that much before taking the GFC off.

I ended up welding all the crack and then plating it all. The bed I was going to buy ended up having tons of rust because of a plastic bed liner. Hopefully it holds for awhile. Maybe I will start looking for another rig to build...

I already know I have a cab and bed swap in my future if I can find something fresh with no rust and no cracks. The rust especially did a number on my bed.
