I’ve been eyeballing these same side ICs. If I didn’t have a snorkel I’d tuck it in the fender well. Not like it needs air.

@Jon64l How are y’all gonna do the reservoir? Any external cooler?

I like that Ic, would be nice to have short charge pipes but these arnt bad. Mine are longer and not a issue. He has a pump/resivour in mind, didnt tell me which one. It will be behind driver headlight though. Yes there will be a cooler in front, he will bring me the brackets and other small stuff to weld once he mocks that stuff up. Truck is going home today, I need the space back and want to workon my own rig for a change.

So just running a coolant mix from overflow? Seems too practical. I was tossing around the idea of putting a small oil cooler rad in the hole by the battery, 1st gen, and then having an electric blower outside the firewall pushing in through the small rad. Wire up so when trucks running fan is pushing. Shouldn’t be too hard to box in with some 3M sticky foam.

Alright this is on an 05 Sequoia but you gents have a lot of knowledge and may be able to help.

Looking for some ideas for P0175 & 0172 codes. My long term fuel trims are in the - 30s at idle so it's pulling a ton of fuel. It gets better when driving but right around - 10. STFT are doing what they should and making the correction an are typically +-2. Afr is around stoic.

Driveabilty is just fine. Wouldn't know other than the cel coming on after extended idle or coasting down long grades with no load.

Both bank 1 and 2 are almost identical. This leads me to think it's not something on the exhaust end but on the intake side of things.

I've cleaned the TRD air filter and MAF sensor with no change.

At idle (700rmp) it's moving 43cfm of air.

Any thoughts? If you do please explain your thought process.

Yes. I used a small piece of clear nylon tubing at the highest point to act as somewhat of a sight glass to check for air bubbles and it seems to be working well.

So both primary o2 are rich. Air filter and MAF are clean. If both popped up same time I may would throw a new MAF sensor at it.

That is the direction I'm leaning. Yes both o2s are rich. It's "reading" more air than it's actually ingesting. I just hate throwing parts at it without knowing 100%. Guess I'll dive into the fsm and see what it says on testing the maf.

I don't have any insight for a P0175 P0172. The internet sure pops up a ton of results for that issue with no one ever coming back and reporting their solution. With the amount of results it generates leads me to believe it is a common occurrence. Most results are people throwing a bunch of parts at the motor just to have the CEL pop up again in 5 minutes. Air Filter cleaning, MAF sensor clean and/or replace, fuel cleaner for the injectors, throttle body cleaning, O2 sensor replacement, SAIS delete causing issues. My advice start with the cheap solutions first to see if it is simple fix. Cleaning stuff and fuel treatment. After that is probably changing out parts that are 20 years old.

I'm just gonna throw out, if the machine is pumping in too much fuel, maybe it's trying to tell you to pump in more air... :burnrubber:

I can't agree more! Haha too bad these rods don't handle forced induction too well.
