My 2017 now has 51,000 miles on her. With the 3.5L I'm getting an average of 24.5 MPG going through Montana and Idaho. Aside from the periodic stall at intersections, luv the rig

Me too! I'll never put 250,000 or more miles on my 2017. I'll see a newer body style I like better and trade up...Until then, I'll maintain mine like it's one of my grandchildren.

    A few.
They might have a couple warts but tacomas are known to last 300k miles without major problems.

I have a 2021 off road trd pro. I drive it like I stole it. 170k. Oil changes and tire rotation and trans fluid changed as instructed by dealership. No issues. So far pretty amazing.

My 2017 now has 136,000 miles. Again, if I can get 250,000 miles out of it with routine maintenance I'll be happy. Mileage is now 18 city, 20.5 highway. No issues so far knock on wood.

I am sure by now there has to be someone out there with 500K in one. Team Oil Drop on YouTube had a review on one I think. True testament that they can go for a while!:fingerscrossed:

7 years and 65K miles later, absolutely zero issues except for things i broke offroad.

I have spent hundreds of miles in harsh conditions off road and also used my truck for my home maintenance business for last 2 years, towed an enclosed 6x12 trailer almost daily. These tacomas are absolute tanks.

Yeah bigoldbeef probably has 500K on his 3rd gen by now. He posts updates occasionally in the highest mileage 3rd gen thread. I’d tag him but I don’t feel like bothering him lol

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Last time I saw he's still below 500k miles, although a good amount above 400k miles. Unfortunately it has leaky exhaust valves.

There are two 3rd gen 3.5 V6s I saw on the Internet that has over 500k miles though.

    And one '21 3.5 V6 with 425k miles.
