I had a snowblower tire that was an absolute bear to break the bead. Bead had a bunch of corrosion that I needed to clean up. I had to beat the damn thing with a sledge hammer!

I of course used Permatex Aviation Sealant as bead sealer... :anonymous:

The small tires/rims are as bad as the big ones, if not worse!

    ok here we go!

went out drilled, easy out & retapped the hole & put a new stud in it. put the valve back together after the good cleaning. took all the other valves out & cleaned them & made sure they all could move.
stuck it all back together except the head gasket. that should be here Friday. will test it out then.

if that fixes it? YAY! on we go.

if that dont fix it? gonna go grab the replacement head at HF for $200 & run that for a while.

will see if some money falls into my hands to get the rebuild kit for the Quincy & it can set on the shelf if need be until then.

got some other things done today. did some excavating work for another neighbor. dug out a stump that he didnt want ground off. made $50.

probably got $50 worth of scare clacking back up the road with people about to run over me. :-0
before the naysayers start: it was only 2 houses over & he was lead vehicling me. thats totally legal in my area.

2morro will be helping another neighbor move some busted up concrete.

I think the HF pump is a 3600 rpm unit. Your motor is a 1700 rpm motor. I think you will be disappointed at how slow it builds pressure.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

:rofl:my neighbor comes over with his trackhoe ambling up the state hwy. Had another guy a number of years ago come down about a 1/4 mile with 1 to re-armor around the bridge and dig a trench for drainage in the back yard. But then again I do live WFOY just ask @KRAMERICA .

May I suggest just putting a floor mat or something to weigh down the middle of that line next time. If anything snaps, a small, weighted item will dampen the energy coming back in either direction. Just a safety tip, but always great to see a good use of shackles/etc.

Yes my electric motor is in that 1800 rpm range.

Let's hope I fixed the original head.

The more I look at that pic, the more I want a trailer like that! I have been mulling over trailers for a year now....I've been going over the pros/cons and am thinking a 15-16 ft for my BX23s. Towing it with the Taco is of course my limitation.
