I literally opened an instagram 2-3 ish months ago so I could start following the artists at the Providence convention and have been itching for more since :spy:

Fair enough, it's worked for me, worth a shot to suggest. I always wear black or old shirts I don't care about - legs soon, that'll be a new venture.

Appreciate the suggestions. What doesn't work for me may help others!

I'm waffling on a left leg sleeve. It's a huge commitment both financially and seat time. I'll do it, eventually, I just need to come up with a decent theme that will flow through the entire sleeve.

That's my dilemma. I can finish out my arms with my ideas. I have a couple leg ideas but none of them are cohesive enough for a full sleeve.

Seat time - I found my limit on my arms was about 3 hours, I could push to 4 if that was the difference between a second session and not, but after that is a solid no. But that was a group of 3 roses, so going over the same areas. If I was doing an outline that took up more real estate, maybe I could push a bit more. But I've got time, as long as I have a plan no need to rush it. I'm lucky where I am, Providence has a hella good tattoo scene (and surrounding cities, not even touching on what Boston has to offer).

I'm quite liking the Mad Rabbit stuff. The lotion is fantastic.

That sounds about right. Haven't done my legs yet but arms was nothing on the forearms until the wrist and then BAM. Outer upper arm was not bad but after 4 hours it was rough.

hoooooleeee crap that's skill. "Books closed", that's the kind of artist you want :p My right arm piece was kind of a mix of that, she went on maternity leave and then was backed up about 6-12 months out. That's an impressive gallery just from what I saw in the first couple rows of pictures. Looks like she did some travel spots a couple years back, that would be cool...

Yeah she is great but man does she pack that color in. I went to her before she was that good for my forearm..... 11 MF hours. By the time she was packing in the red, I was starting to get pissed off (to conceal the pain per usual) lol. Since then, she has limited herself to 8 hour sessions. I think she still does travel from time to time. Luckily for me, we built a relationship where she said I can email her and she will fit me in somehow! Endorphins provide you relief of the pain for 3-4 hours, anything more than that your body is in shock and its just torture

Depends highly on the artist too. Dude that did my Maul felt like he was painting it on. 10 hours was nothing.

My forearm was about 1.5 hours a piece for each deity. Trucked through it rapid speed, felt it but it wasn't super painful except the wrist.

Luckily when she did 11 hours hours it was 750 be she didn't think it would take that long and she wasn't well known yet.... Last time I was there to continue my arm I think it was 200 an hour but that was a couple years ago. I wouldn't doubt if she was up to 250 an hour now. Expensive but a worthy investment for something on your body forever

Had to look for it in this thread... I think it's because it was on your bicep, that's cake. I bet that elbow didn't feel like paint hahaha. Sick freaking piece though!!! How do the fingers feel?

The inner wrist? Luckily my artist barely touched that spot to make it look like some smoke

I have my other arm too, and many many others. I can safely say his application was butter compared to others. Fingers suck, intense but quick. I've redone them about 5 times through the years. Never gets better

Agreed, I'm sure she can do a cover up over that rose you're removing. She has a heavy hand but doubt it would hurt more than the laser. I heard removal is 5x worse than a tattoo
