Drove the full Padre Island today and man that beach is amazing. Parked at mile 55 to relax and eat lunch, the next nearest vehicle/person was 5 miles away. Only 2 cars passed us in the 3.5 hours we were relaxing, it was like your own personal beach.

Grilled up some fajita tacos in the Adventure Taco. Definitely the highlight of the trip.

Usually when I'm in scenic places I am hiking so it's pretty rare the Taco is with me.

I have the extended warranty so hopefully it costs nothing.

Austin is pretty cool, it's like the Minneapolis of the south. Lot's of biking and cool restaurants. I'd recommend watching the bats leave Congress Ave bridge it was really cool to see.

Replaced front pads and rotors. Even though the originals looked fine (27K miles), I was getting really bad steering wheel vibration down the 11k-ft 7% grades CO is famous for. Haven't thoroughly tested yet, but so far they feel better.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
My guess why it wouldn't be Fed approved is crash worthiness with all of those welds.

    This and that
    For “protection”; in the cab
Outside the cab people run the lines all over the place.

My arguement/reason for in the cab was, I already had the seat jackers from desert does it, it remains protected from the elements as I and my passengers would, and just running electrical lines not air lines.
I use a wifey system I got from one the companies in the yotaverse.

Isn’t it too loud for the passengers inside while in use?

Yeah, Costco has 5 gallon cans for around $20 each. Then again I think I paid close to $1000 for an arb twin on a desert does it mount for under the passenger seat so, :notsure:

Yeah I think I've dumped at least $15k on truck mods so $2500 on a tank isn't that much in the grand scheme of mods but still more than I am willing to spend...at least for now. Lol.

At least you make the effort to bolt stuff on the truck and get some use out of it. I still have 2.5 fox elites, rxt leafs, 2 sets of wheels and a handful of other things sitting in boxes. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to it or maybe I'll just put it up for sale. I know I've spent more than 10k on upgrades over the years, but I stopped counting after that.

Btw, those fajitas looked really good! :D

Well, the passenger door is usually open when the compressor is running. The compressor is really not that loud, just a single arb. There’s plenty of shit that’s loud that I’ve had passengers complain about, the stereo, the windows, low range (both 2 and 4 is pretty whiny), this or that clunk from somewhere up front, d-rings in the bed rail. But really it’s not that loud at all, mostly people are fascinated by it.
