IMG_0332.jpg .. are new here. Matter of fact this is the first post. Picked her up with 12,000 miles on the odometer. Would like to do exhaust and intake and a 3 or 3 1/2 inch lift. Bigger tires. I'm learning a lot here about these changes I plan on. Like recalibrating the speedometer. Like inexpensive Rough Country lift kits have a rough ride. So far I tinted the front windows, did some chrome deleting in the cabin, installed an ignition cut off, picked up an OEM tonneau cover for $200 on marketplace and an OEM bed mat too. Also learned there's a tomgirl named Chloe who makes Tacoma videos on YouTube! Anyway - great forum here!

Welcome! 3rd gen is the best gen! I’ve never heard Chloe described as a Tom Girl, but I guess I can kinda sorta buy that. Read lots and lots before you commit to those expensive mods.

Good suggestion andI am reading everything I can and watching videos. I've been building motorcycles for many years so I'm experienced with customizing vehicles. A Tacoma is a different animal than a bike though. There's certainly a lot to absorb with regard to lifting for example. The goal is to raise it about 3 inches and have it handle better on the street and in the dirt if possible. I'll post results.

Another challenge right now is to find hardware for an OEM bed cover that I picked up cheap. At least $200 seemed to cheap at the time, lol. Now it seems that the missing hardware is going to be a little tricky to figure out without spending about 300 bucks. This forum is a great source of information though so I'm confident I'll figure it out!
