    Reserected from the dead.

I've seen those used as raised garden beds. Looked pretty slick and pest resistant with chicken wire cage over the top half.

That's a good idea too, if you have something with forks on it you could move it around if you wanted

Awesome work! That articulating arm would be awesome to have to cut shrubs and such on a steep hill side. The grapple sir....is the best addition I've ever made to the tractor and hands down the tractor was the best investment I ever made. Like having a hand on the front of the tractor to pick up stuff!
My neighbors aren't like yours....the most they have is a craftsman riding mower. I need better neighbors!

I want one for my South wood line. Blackberries and whatnot grow like no tomorrow and I’m out there weekly summertime to tame them back with my hedge trimmer. Maybe I can talk my long haired accountant into getting something :anonymous:

It is on my want list for some day. But they are not cheap, plus the cost of the 3rd function. Even if you get the mechanical kind that @sdk1968 has will set you back a couple K$. So will have to keep wanting until I have more free cash flowing...

too bad we aren't closer. I don't mind loaning equipment to like minded folks, but never to anyone else (especially family and neighbors). We're all of the same mindset here.....an appreciation of the equipment and the long term care for them.
Not like everyone else who would abuse it and treat it like a rental. Those folks would never get my support.

My Yanmar Sc2400 has a stupid plastic hood that was cracked when I got it. I welded the cracks by embedding SS mesh into the back side of the hood with a spade bit in a soldering iron then using a pointed bit to weld the visible side. The rest of the hood had a mottled surface that wouldn't buff out. Here's what the hood looked like.

I was prepping it for paint today and discovered something neat.
I sanded it and then wiped it down with enamel reducer to clean it. The reducer was hot enough to melt the surface plastic and when it dried it was shiny.

I went to another spot and scuffed it with scotchbrite and then wiped it with the reducer. It shined and I buffed it with Nufinish.

Looks pretty danged good. I will scotchbrite the entire hood and wipe it down then buff it. Won't need paint and no worries about the paint cracking or peeling.

I will get the decals on it I had made after finishing the surface.
