Low mpg?

    The ECT is just supposed to move the shift points to hold lower gears longer. All in all the 5vz ain't a powerhouse to begin with, and paired with a 4 speed slushbox it can feel quite gutless

    28 years of livin' Gen1 TacoLife...
    i have been told that automatic transmission get just as good if not better MPG than a manual transmission does :confused:

    It's possible. Considering how sluggish it makes the 5vz feel, it probably is saving fuel
