Its happened to a bunch of Yami's this year!! to him, Tomac and Webb

Shit I'm not convinced he can deal with Hunter! older bro looking good lately.
Jo has looked good all season. Just wasnt quite fast enough early season.

He's gotta be banged up. he doesn't have a play it safe gear when he's healthy. Just like with his own teammate in Sx if he thought he could go and do it he would have.

Deegan will definitely have a learning curve in 450’s. Those dudes won’t just let him by without some bars banging. :bikewhoops:

Yeah I agree, I don’t think he’ll be battling for the title in his first 450 season. Will be interesting to see next year for sure, though.
Hunter trains with the fastest dude on the planet so he’s going to just keep getting better.

I've watched some of the stuff on the Lawrence brothers, but was wondering.
I wonder if Jett was always better and only slower bc he was younger/smaller/weaker/etc but was always technically better, or if he actually learned from hunter and at some point natural talent just made him able to execute better?

Not sure. I think Hunter needs to switch to a different team than his brother though. Maybe gain an advantage from a different bike and not have team orders of letting Jett win.

Brother’s on different teams in moto and Supercross. That would be a first and pretty interesting. Hunter is a good racer. Jett just has that little something special. :bikewhoops:

Interesting idea... although I can't really see it happening. They've been pretty clear that they're in it together, and the Honda suits both of them pretty damn well.

Where do you see him going? I guess the Star Yammy would probably be the best match bike-wise, although given their budget philosophy I guess that would mean putting Pooper Webb out on his ass... I'd just hate to see that after he was the reason they booted Tomac. Idk, maybe they could do webb for sx and Hunter for mx... although I don't see Hunter accepting that either.

It seems like Hunter is getting sick of always being second to his brother. How could he not be? Look at how aggressive he was towards Jett in that last race. A different team and bike could give him an advantage as they wouldn’t be riding equal equipment. Tomac and Webb are probably both done after next year so some spots should be opening up. I would imagine that guys like Barcia, Anderson and Roczen are close to retirement too.

Sadly not many guys in the 250 class will be moving up to 450’s any time soon. Unless their teams drop the current riders to open up some spots. :bikewhoops:

I mean yeah I'm sure he is a little tired of playing second fiddle ALL the time like this... I guess I'm just not sure that's enough to make him pull the trigger on what would seem like kind of a nuclear move. And you have to wonder if it would boost his performance or hinder it, especially since it would probably mean less practicing with Jett.

Yeah I don't see it either. at least not for a while. another 3 or 4 years of Hunter playing second fiddle could see him shift. Def not to Star Yam, Deegan will be moving up and for him to leave his brother AND join Deegan would be nuclear for sure. Plus, Deegan always going to be #1 on his team and if hunter gets tired of being #2 that wouldn't fit. I think he'd like the KTM for riding style but not while AP and Tomac are there and Juju moving up, and Sexton? There are always moves that are a little shocking and you don't see coming though. Kitchen prob moves up around the same time Deegan does too. Davies prob not staying with Star Yam if/when he moves up either though that's a few seasons off.
will be fun to watch the chaos.

Chaos is right lol... didn't think about the KTM situation. That's a lot of talent on one team, especially when that team's brand is struggling financially.

I am genuinely confused by Prado... Everyone knows how good he is. Has anyone heard any credible reports about why he's done so poorly here? EBV or something? Seems like his M.O. has been top 5 start, then after about 2 laps just let everyone catch him, fight for half a lap, then let them by.

He sure clammed up when Jett sat next to him in the post race presser. Danger Boy still has a few years left before he becomes a man.

Funny when you think you’re the bully and the guy you have been talking smack about is sitting right next to you. Butt cheeks were a little tight.

you arent alone. I think he assumed he would just be better than he is and then wasn't it fucked with his head.

I think its a combination of: he underestimated how different US racing is compared to GP, the guys here are stupid fast, he got head fucked by the previous two points, he needs something to blame so the bike is easy, the bike might not be everything he expected so he's constantly fucking with it making it harder to get used to, hes got a bad attitude and rather than buckle down for 10 races he packs it in.

gotta give him his due, kid knows how to win titles. Last outdoor title for a while though....

Americans are just better on dirt. Nicky Hayden and Ben Spies were the last American’s to be successful in Moto GP which everyone knows is ruled by the rest of the world. Outside of America you might see a good motocross racer come from New Zealand or Australia. Outside of those two countries I can’t recall any great Supercross racers.

Ther are going to be so over budget. They are going to be star yamaha 250s with 17 guys racing on the team. except rumors are they are struggling $ wise.

premier class ill give you. 250s the number 2 Mx is Japanese and damn near stole the title and the last 2 Sx 250east guy is French. Add in the Aussies and maybe the tides are shifting........ ha ha nah
