My light bar stopped working out of the blues and I am trying to figure out if it’s a bad switch or the bar itself.

I have a Diode Dynamics Stage Series 42 using their heavy duty harness and a CaliRaised LED “OEM” style switch to turn it on.

It worked great for over a year and the other day I was on a dark stretch and decided to turn it on and nothing. When it worked, the switch would turn on a bright blue color when I turned it on, but even that’s dead.

    Things I’ve checked:
    - Connection to battery = Good
    - Ground = Good
    - Fuse to the harness = Good
    - Connection to the switch = Good
    - Checked the plugs to the light bar thinking it might have gone loose = Good

Anything else I can try to determine if it’s a bad switch or the bar itself?

Swap the switch with new one and see if it works. If not, then it could be either light bar or wire short somewhere.

the 100% surefire way to determine if light is good or bad.
Disconnect light bar from switch/wiring harness, connect light bar wires directly to battery terminals.
It could be the relay in your harness? YOu didn't mention checking that?

Check the relay. You should hear a click when it is switched on.

I might be able to check these today or if not, it will have to wait till the truck comes back. It's going into the body shop tomorrow for hail repair and will most likely be gone for a couple weeks.
