By far the BEST way!
Soak the ears in water for a half hour before they hit the hot grill, Make sure the outer shuck is well burned! I don't even need salt pepper or butter if the ears are fresh to begin with ;-)

ETA

Cook on a low a heat on your grill, when the husks give up their steam, that's what cooks the corn! I like some of the kernals to show a bit of roasty brown as well.

 

We are tracking, exactly how I did it. The husk creates that moisture and just makes it much more enjoyable. I just need a coffee can filled with melted butter lol

Guess I’m cooking corn in the microwave today. I offered up the grill with hot dogs. The argument I got was we have too much food to eat in the fridge.
