There is actually plenty of room. Might need to cut the 1" tube holding the grille, but other than that it can come out forwards

What’s everyone using for trans cooler and with or without a fan?

Looking for a Tran’s cooler upgrade to mount in the stock location w/possibly a fan.

We just need to do a small bit of testing on this one and it will be ready for the market. Thermostatically controlled fan and as big as you’re gonna fit.

And Tom rolls harder than most on this thread and more often than most of us.
Cory still has yet to show anything but soccer mom minivan trails so we can't figure out what operator failure Cory has going on internally. Take Tom's word from an avid user, not the word of an avid keyboard monkey like the other guy.

Mishimoto fan mounted to the JD Fab Core Support. Pinned the thermostat and been keeping me under 200 for a full season now. Fan sounds cool too but only use it when it gets hot, which is rarely.

Lolololol coming from the guy who placed a steering box in the position of a factory steering rack when we were going to pay you to draw up the swingset.

See, we get this thing called rain where I live. That’s where issues come into play. But I understand, you don’t know what that is.

I mean I can probably find the screenshots. Along with the invoice of us paying you to confirm fitment of a box via 3d rendering.

I hope you spend the rest of the day trying to find that. .... instead of actually working on all the products you say you can do better than companies that have been around for a long time

Started off with a Mishimoto Cooler with the Fan, was ok but wasn't enough on the slower trails at altitude. Upgraded to a Haden 678 Plate Style and transfered the Fan from the Mishi to the Plate Style Cooler. No problems since. I also have a Trans Fluid Temp Gauge installed that turns on the Trans Cooler Fan at my programmed setpoint, works very well..

If you can build a Cage, you can plumb a Cooler

I don’t think many realize what their trans temps are running in these trucks. Our bone stock second gen with the stock coolers will still break 230 in stop and go traffic or anything slow moving. Add weight and big tires, and it’s even worse. With that said, you don’t hear of many trans failures. I attribute that to the WS fluid honestly.

    UNDER 200?!?!
Please tell me that means sub 190?

200 is no bueno for clutches and torque converter
    190 is pushing it imo
    160 is ideal

coming from someone getting ready to pull my cooked trans :anonymous:

    Also, this is the coolest!

You’re speaking for GM stuff lol. Fluid comes out looking like this in any other vehicle and you’ve probably got a cooked trans. Toyota doesn’t care. 4 drain and fills later, it’s kinda red again.
