AE is releasing another limited RC10.
    https://60years.associatedelectrics.com/rc10-las-vegas-edition-kit/

edit: Building those tie rods suck.

Why N scale? I have some original Lionel HO scale in boxes somewhere. Seems HO scale has the majority of the market.

HO does have the market in terms of availability. I need something that is easily transported. A 3x5 layout will fit in my Tacoma. And once I buy a house things can get bigger. And this is my first layout. Plus I have always loved N scale. Here’s my loco: IMG_0518.jpg

The reason Associated keeps releasing these RC10s is bc guys like RC Retro keep buying them.

I got what I needed: CC and 40th.

    I won’t buy another.

    Associated needs to release the:
“Wife Files For Divorce Edition” bc you bought one too many RC10s.

Installed $140 worth of VP Titanium screws that my wife bought me for Carbon and finished trimming my newish body for Fat Pig. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna beat them!

Keep going back and forth on a Maxx. I saw a guy driving one at a skate park last year and the performance was incredible. But by the time I buy the truck and the battery I'm at around $1200(CDN) and I just wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost. And since I have a T-Maxx and a Savage I keep thinking I should get something different. Leaning towards a Mini XRT. I like the Mini Maxx better but for not much more $$ you get all the upgrades included.

I've read of overheating issues with the mini XRT. Traxxas cut a hole in the windshield for a fix... some say it didn't work. Probably best to wait until they get it resolved.

Been keeping an eye on that. I've seen fans added that seem to help. Been holding off hoping they put those upgrades on the Mini Maxx. Essentially the same platform but always liked trucks. I'm sure if I was to pick up the XRT the upgraded Mini Maxx would be out in a few weeks. Picked up a Mojave Grom last year and not long after the brushless version was released.
