It is about $175 worth of lumber from Slowes. They are 2x8x12, held together with those super duty structural screws.

 

Most of the time they come by with gravel and do the edges and things like yours with gravel, it takes them a few weeks around these parts.

 

not related to you specifically, but reminded me of an issue for the general population here..

talking to my retired neighbor about the going's on, and he mentioned that he's re-doing their will's. apparently, the laws silently changed, and the house needs to be an entirely separate document from other possessions.

you can't just will 'everything' to a few individuals within one singular document like before. "they" are hoping nobody notices, and sending all the cases to probate. he said he knows of at least one person that had everything in order in their will, and the kids got all the possessions, but the house had to go to court, and deal with the fee's, despite everything being clearly spelled out...

so do yourself a favor and check with your local lawyers on will stuff...

just when i think i've got everything covered, they go and change things...
