    There was a contractor with a skid steer doing some work across the road from me when I was starting to build my garage. I offered him $500 to level the pad since he was already there with the equipment and it would probably take him less than an hour. But NOPE! He wanted to do an estimate and drive the price up. So I took my handy-dandy hand shovel and did it myself in a little over two hours and used the $500 for materials.

    I was not messing around. I hired a subcontractor. 16x16. Gravel filled pad when the shed got here.( 14x12 ). I then stapled in the hardware cloth. Around the perimeter
